I really don’t have any gripes with Resident Evil 7. The story hooked me, it’s beautiful to look at, and the gameplay is new and refreshing with sprinkles of homage to franchise signatures… whats not to like?
Resident Evil VII is exhilarating and terrifying in equal measure. It’s a brave and bold move for Capcom, feeling quintessentially classic while still feeling fresh and adventurous in its ambitions. Ultimately, Resident Evil VII is a breathtaking return to form for a series we long thought had abandoned any hope of redemption. [Issue#184, p.73]

Já joguei este jogo umas 4x mas esta última após tanto tempo sem jogar foi um refresh, foi um refresh pk já nem me lembrava de metade das coisas que tinha de fazer e nem das zonas envolventes a não ser a mansão Baker que essa é impossível esquecer!
A meu ver a perspetiva da câmera em 1a pessoa aliado ao facto da atmosfera do próprio jogo foi de facto a reviravolta que a franquia precisava! depois do homicio no re5 re6!! A meu ver o melhor resident evil já feito, apesar da história ser cliché e não ser nada novo na indústria de jogos e filmes de terror, a história é muito bem adaptada, as mecânicas de jogo funcionam bem, a atmosfera, o ambiente de terror e toda aquela insanidade dos Baker, coloca na minha opinião o jogo de maior terror da franquia que eu tanto amo e admiro, o melhor resident evil já feito, o nome do jogo neste jogo encaixa que nem uma luva!! E o modo como a história de eveline e dos mofados é contado nos arquivos do jogo é brilhante, bem Á maneira de resident! Só achei que o jogo carece de puzzles e puzzles que podiam ser mais difíceis de resto nota 10! Se gostam de apanhar sustos, de terror, da ambientação de uma casa assombrada este é o jogo!!! Obrigado CAPCOM!!!

Capcom has delivered a refreshing return to horror, saving face and the franchise by focusing on a tight single-player experience.
Resident Evil 7 stands at the forefront of immersive first person horror, proving itself to be far more than the P.T knock-off that the demo initially suggested.
Representing a T-Virus level shot in the arm for Capcom’s venerable survival horror franchise, Resident Evil 7 combines old and new alike to create the most essential entry in the series since its fourth core instalment.
It's a bit on the short side and the latter chunk of the game is rather linear, but Resident Evil 7 absolutely recaptures the feeling of survival horror established in the first game. The Baker family is terrifying and spending time trapped in their home is damned good horror. As a new direction for the franchise, returning to an old one seems like it was a great idea.
Casual players aren’t touching something with a “7” in the title (nor is it clear will newcomers). Fans of action-angled survival horror like Dead Space or Dying Light may balk at the game’s deliberately poky controls and too easily grasped opponents. Old-school fans seem like the obvious target. But survival horror is a crowded space in 2017, and too much of what Resident Evil 7 is up to we’ve seen elsewhere — and done better.
This game is incredibly fun and incredibly stressful. After the disaster that was RE6, this game really drew me back to the franchise. The first person view was definitely a smart choice for this one. A must play!

This game is a true horror game that set resident evil back to its roots but at the same time loses that feelings once you leave the house and go to different locations which felt disappointing but still offers a good scary experience non the less

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is a disappointing entry in the series that fails to capture the essence of what made its predecessors great. Lacking in thrills, variety, and compelling storytelling, the game struggles to hold the attention of players and ultimately falls short of expectations. Unless you're a die-hard fan of the franchise or a dedicated horror enthusiast, I would recommend giving Resident Evil 7 Biohazard a pass. Play Alan Wake 2. Its very similar but better.
