Star Trek: Prodigy has delivered top-tier storytelling that deserves to be remembered as some of the best this franchise has to offer.

Star Trek: Prodigy gives Trekkers a real adventure with canonical implications to wrap their minds around while providing action and characters kids can relate to. It’s a combination that we rarely see in kids’ extensions to existing franchises.

I have been looking forward to this season for three years, and it was seriously worth the wait. While I liked the first season, the second season is 100% better. The story arcs for the characters were well thought and satisfying. It is very apparent that one who loves Star Trek poured their hearts and soul into this series. I hope Netflix picks it up for a third season because I want more! Oh and the Voyager? Beautiful ship.

ST Prodigy s02 is by far some of the best Star Trek I have seen. The long story arc in the season, is phenomenal. There are nice cameo in it, and the return of Beltran in Trek is deeply appreciated. The animation is just amazing, and the details that goes into the ships are very precise. Apart from one or two episodes, that season is way superior to the first. I don't know if we will get another season, but as far as story telling and character development, you get a very nice 20 episodes to binge and enjoy. I give it 90%.

Not the worse followup, but it could have easily avoided the pitfalls of long form story telling with plenty of side quests. everything worked the way you'd expect, but the finale left an interesting platform for seasons moving forward, but like most shows that are trying to sell another season, tease tease tease that you'll give the audience what they want, eventually. I would suggest that the show should try to stand on their own in storytelling because these star trek shows tend to write themselves into a corner when they introduce time travel. I'm biased because once a show/movie does time travel, the creative clock begins to tick. Pun intended.
