A superb family entertainment. Maybe even a future classic.
Like the book, Chris Sanders’ onscreen adaptation is compassionate, funny and filled with unexpectedly poignant moments.

The Movie "The Wild Robot" was an Exellent one, it had Everything, action, love, sillyness and even Drama (well only a bit on that note).
For me it was one of the Best Movies of 2024, and it shows me that Producers still can make the Best whit what they have even in a World that slowly gets Dominated by AI Slob, lazy Writing and all that Bad Stuff.
A True 10/10 Movie, and it should be Watched by litteraly EVERYONE <3

This is easily the best-animated movie of 2024. The story and message are incredibly heartfelt and wonderfully done. The theme of family, communities coming together and accepting being different have been done hundreds of times before but The Wild Robot still executes this in such a masterful way that it will still be incredibly touching. The animation and art style are beautiful with many stunning shots. It is hard to believe that this film had a $78 million budget, especially when compared to the $200 million budget of Inside Out 2. Every voice actor does a phenomenal job as well and it doesn't feel phoned in. This is a must-watch film and I hope Dreamwork continues to give more of this and less of Kung Fu Panda 4.

If this unusually thoughtful exploration of parenthood, emotional connection, and the coexistence of nature and technology is the only installment we get, load your offspring onto your back and tote them to the movie theater while you can.
One could watch The Wild Robot with the sound off entirely and still have a rewarding experience—turn it on and you have one of the best animated films of the decade.
Compared to the average family-friendly animation, this is very much an upgrade.
It’s a delicate piece of storytelling, one where the poignancy never feels forced and where the comedy springs from its characters rather than pop-culture references or lazy scatology.
This denial of nature is more banal than inspiring. The robot may grow a heart but the movie feels strictly mechanical.
Chris Sanders ist zurück. Bekannt durch Mitwirken von Filmen wie, Lilo & Stich, Bolt, Die Croods und als Regisseur auch in Drachenzähmen leicht gemacht. Mit Drachenzähmen leicht gemacht konnte ich persönlich, als Kind nichts anfangen. Ob dies heute noch so ist, werde ich überprüfen. Mit "Der wilde Roboter" hat Sanders, einen seiner besten Filme **** Roboterdame Roz ist in der Wildnis gestrandet und möchte eine Aufgabe erhalten. Anfangs hat sie noch Probleme mit der Umgebung, denn keiner der Tiere will mit ihr etwas zu tun haben. Nach einer Zeit, bekommt sie schlussendlich doch eine Aufgabe, und zwar sich um ein Entenbaby zu kümmern. Ihre Aufgabe ist erledigt, wenn ihr "Sohn" alleine schwimmen, Essen finden und den Winter überleben kann. Dabei hat sie Unterstützung von dem Fuchs **** wilde Roboter ist ein emotionaler Film. Es gibt viele Szenen zum Lachen, aber auch zum Weinen. Die Geschichte ist simpel und auch nicht unbedingt, etwas Neues, aber der Film, schafft es trotzdem auf kreative Weise neue Ideen einzubauen bzw. nicht wie eine Kopie zu wirken. Wie sie mit den Tieren kommunizieren lernt, finde ich kreativ und es wird nicht einfach so hingenommen, wie in den meisten Filmen, wo Tiere sprechen können. Der Animationsstil ist ähnlich, wie bei dem neusten gestiefelten Kater Film. Es gibt viele Szenen, wo man am liebsten Pause drücken möchte und dann hätte man ein perfektes Motiv für ein Gemälde oder ein Hintergrundbild für das Handy oder den PC. Die deutsche Synchro ist wie in den meisten Filmen super und auch Judith Rackers merkt man nicht an, dass sie im Schauspielbereich keine Erfahrung **** wilde Roboter ist ein Film für die ganze Familie, wo jeder seinen Spaß haben wird. Es gibt eine gute Massage und es gibt viel zu lachen und auch zum Weinen. Der Film gehört zu einem der besten Animationsfilme, überhaupt und wenn man nur von der Ästhetik her schaut, ist das vielleicht, sogar der beste. 9,5/10

It was ok for the most part. But that is as much as i can give it. Ranging from average to cringe. Robot personality of robot was completely superficial and shallow, reminding me of how children would play robots. Animals were extremely humanized, that they did not even feel like cartoon animals(not even trying to give them animalistic traits, beaver could as well be a bear, would make zero difference from storytelling standpoint). Story was ranging from weird to generic, fairly predictable. And while some scenes did fall out of this expectable generic narrative, none of them felt organic and were simply ducktaped on top of existing story. Like in the end why first fight retrieval ship, just to then call next one supposedly to protect the island!?!? One would expect an advanced robot being able to make such decision in a split of a second. Not to mention nonsensical nature of many storylines and characters. Vontra claims to be "unfeeling, inflexible and morally neutral", yet acts like a complete psychopath. So on and so forth.
Clunky, unsatisfying, poorly paced and poorly written. At least visuals were ok.
