All games you ever liked mixed together into one huge colored gaming orgy. Even so, it is not all chaos but a catchy and fascinating game which makes you thrilled to the end. [Issue#200]
Yes, it's an incredible platformer, categorically and exponentially improved over its predecessor, but there's a much larger picture that might take you a few evenings of madcap, freeform architecture to discover. LittleBigPlanet 2 isn't just a great platformer, it's a veritable celebration of creativity.
The first video game I ever played! This one brings back so many memories and it is such a great experience for all players! If you are looking for a platforming game to get a child into gaming, this is the one.
Is one of the only games in my entire life I can truly say I've had no hatred against: no frustrating moments, no confused moments in the story or gameplay, literally nothing was bad. All the characters were unique, interesting and funny. The levels were, yet again, made in the upgraded Create Mode allowing one to dream of how they could make their own levels on top of allowing one to easily think up solutions to problems given they're bound by the game's natural laws.
Bosses are unique and creative, The Negativitron despite being simple was a very amazing character when I finally revisited the series, music was great as always with Sleepy Head being a classic.
Sad that the servers are down now, but the story mode and DLCs are literally so good that they're enough for me to enjoy the game.
As I said, creativity and imagination are essential in any form of entertainment that can be considered artistic in nature. There is nothing, I repeat, nothing, that tops LBP2 in terms of ingenuity, and certainly nothing that makes an entire community dip into a wellspring of prolific inspiration.
If you liked the first or were amused to see the little ones having fun with a product as intuitive as possible, so you have here something even more challenging.
It's amusing and playful but Little Big Planet 2's clunky controls still ruin what could have been a wonderfully whimsical experience. Catered more to the creator than the platformer, Sack Boy is still a delight to play with.
This is easily the best PS3 game of all time, there are many great PS3 games out there. but this, This is different, highly Recommend Playing Easy 10/10 game. genuinely feel bad for anyone who didn't grow up with this game.
I got this for my kids and they finished it in about 4 sittings. I would say there is about 6-7 hours of game time here, which is pretty pathetic considering how much games cost these days. I know the "create mode" or whatever it's called is great for adults, but not for little elementary school kids! In addition, how much of what is created by other users out there is really worth playing? 10%? 3%? Very disappointed by this game.
The first LBP was the worst game on PS3, not much has changed in the second.
In case you're wondering why I bought the second, I didn't, a friend did and I played to do him a favor. A huge favor it was and he will never be able to repay it.
