An incredible game that improves in many things from the first game. The game is MUCH longer but it still isn't super long. There is lots of replayability with the different playstyles. It even carries jokes and characters from the first game. If you enjoyed the first game then you MUST give this one a try.

After a few hours of gameplay… (TL;DR at the bottom)
This game has delightfully surprised me! The first game - while extremely enjoyable - was more of a joke than anything else. This sequel retains the absurd humor and plot of the first while adding fresh, bullet hell rogue-lite gameplay on top of it.
The gameplay loop is simple but very enjoyable. There’s much more to do than the first, with a solid variety of upgrades and Enter the Gungeon-esque weaponry. Although I doubt this game has the insane replayability that many of the greats do, it’s still a weird and wonderful ride that I’d highly recommend if you enjoyed the first!
The game is currently $13.49 (normally $15), and on Gamepass as well. My only gripe with the previous installment was its slightly high price for the short length, which isn’t the case for this game!
TL;DR - Completely different beast than the first with the same absurd humor and characters. If you enjoyed the first and like rogue-lites and/or bullet hells, give it a go!

Turnip Boy Robs A Bank understood what it wanted to be, an extension of the Turnip Boy world with refreshing new roguelite elements to spice up the combat. Everything from the bank setting, to the soundtrack, to the characters both new and old, hold up to the excellence that was the first game. However, some points have to be shaved off for the game’s ending, which feels drawn out and tedious.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is a delectable rogue-like that kept finding new ways to bring me back to the dinner table. Addictive run-and-gun gameplay, a colorful art style, and hilarious writing come together to create a memorable first course for 2024.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is a compelling and gloriously silly Roguelike, with plenty of permanent upgrades to pump your cash into.
Another witty Turnip Boy adventure chock-full of eccentric humour and enjoyable if not simple gameplay, I wish Snoozy Kazoo gave this root vegetable lad a little more room to commit his dastardly deeds.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is a thin vertical slice of these genres wrapped in layers of farcical humour, designed to deliver on a bite-size evening or two of amusement. It does that exceedingly well.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank es la primera gran sorpresa del 2024. Debemos explorar un banco que no es un banco y robar todo lo posible a la par que desentrañamos los secretos y vivencias de Turnip. El bucle, de mejorar habilidades y entrar y salir del banco es una delícia. A parte tiene un modo asistido aunque el juego está pensado para ser dificil. Lo puedes terminar en 5 horas, pero se alarga mucho si quieres desbloquear todos sus secretos. Mención especial a la cantidad de armas, bosses, y tesoros por descubrir. Lo único quizás las misiones secundarias son bastante recaderas pero tienen un trasfondo importante para la historia. ¡Un recomendable!

At first I missed the pace and feel of the first game, but this goofy little rogue-like is pretty fun in its own right. I feel the humor also misses a bit compared to the first game. After learning the layout of the map the game becomes more fun as it can be a little confusing your first few times through. I ended up enjoying it more as the game went on, but I still think the first game is a better experience.

Gioco divertente e con una lunghezza breve ma appropriata. Il vero punto debole del titolo è rappresentato dai boss che sono troppo semplici da affrontare anche al primo tentativo.
Tantissime side quest, forse pure troppe visto sia il modo in cui vengono proposte che la tipologia.
Non ho apprezzato neanche l'estrema disparità fra i bottini che possiamo ricavare da un'area all'altra, capisco il progresso e che avanzando nel gioco si possa guadagnare di più ma le differenze sono veramente incredibili.
