Some 10 year old problems are still here proving that Lionhead didn't do its best during the port, but Fable -even after all those years- remains one unique fairytale of a game.
Even with its imperfections, Fable Anniversary is still the best available way to replay this classic.

It was just a good, solid fun RPG, and it remains so to this day.
This is a great example of how a HD remake is supposed to be. If you're aware of the limitations you will find in a ten-year-old game, it's a good choice.
Peter Molyneux will retell you the tale you heard ten years ago for the first time. The game's package is prettier than ever before indeed, but its content is exactly the same, and unfortunately, it seems that all its glittering novelties are not without technical issues.
A good HD remake but the game itself doesn’t really warrant the attention, with too many unfulfilled promises that even its sequels failed to make good on.
The story has some minor twists and turns, but most of them can be seen from miles away, and its best characters and moments come and go in the cutscenes, not as part of gameplay.
fable è un titolo davvero particolare che ad oggi sente parecchio il limite dei suoi anni, e che questa versione al posto di migliorare tende a peggiorare l'opera originale.
il gioco non gira in maniera ottimale con diversi cali di fps.
ma è proprio l'opera di ammodernamento che fallisce in tutto, con dei comandi non sempre immediati, dei menù che dire confusionari è dir poco, e anche qualche bug nella selezione del inventario che molto spesso non ci verrà mostrato.
dal punto di vista ludico ancora oggi si notano quelle cure che sono state riposte nel gioco permettendoci di plasmare la nostra avventura con scelte morali, e interagire con i vari **** che avranno una loro vita e che quindi si spostano in base all'ora della giornata.
peccato per la struttura della mappa a corridoi che alla lunga risulterà ripetitiva da percorrere.
difetti a pare dovuti al età del prodotto e della rimasterizzazione, fable resta un gioco da provare assolutamente, un gioco che racconta la storia di un bambine che negli anni crescerà e in base alle sue buone o cattive azioni molte cosse cambieranno, fino ad arrivare a vedere un cambiamento di come ci vedono le altre persone, davvero tante piccoli particolari nelle varie interazioni che ancora ad oggi difficilmente si vedono così ben implementate.

I bought and played this in the hope that it would be a massive improvement on the original. Dont get me wrong, it is very easy on the eye with the souped up graphics, mission variation and menu **** the gameplay was never an issue before or **** the main thorn in the side was and is the **** very easy to get lost and lose your bearings unless you memorise every nook and cranny of the map.Once this starts to give you a migraine, you lose interest in the story, gameplay, adventuring etc. Compared to its sequels, which were far more engaging on all levels, even the Anniversary edition failed to impress to a greater degree than was anticipated.

Fable the Lost Chapters is a great game. I can't say the same thing about this remake. The controls looks like **** the UI **** and Sometimes the character models look even worse then the original game. Also the game freezes a lot!!
Don't buy this game when you can play the original!
