Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a wonderfully crafted epic in which Ubisoft Quebec celebrate rather than shay away from their influences to deliver humour and action in equal doses.
Still, Immortals Fenyx Rising is one of the best games of the year. It doesn’t matter if its inspiration is so blatant when the team uses that as only a springboard. This isn’t a repaint of Breath of the Wild, but rather an evolution of it, and more often than not it makes smarter gameplay decisions that in full create a more enjoyable, irresistible world. The disjointed, sometimes crass tone leaves a bad taste, especially among those looking to enjoy this with their kids or siblings, but as clear as the throughline is between Breath of the Wild and Immortals Fenyx Rising, it’s just as obvious that Immortals will live again. This is just the start of something special.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising was a very great experience and one of the best games I've played (and I play games since the GB/SNES era). Fenyx is a friendly and handsome main character and the world came up with many colors and different shapes, so all you want is to explore every part of it. The story isn't the best part on Fenyx, but if you like Action-Adventures with some puzzles and good mini-games with a touch of Breath of the Wild and Assassin's Creed, Fenyx will be your game to go. It's a very great adventure and everytime you want to stop, you will find you in the "okay, one more thing" position, what makes this game so beautiful and fine.
Immortals Fenyx Rising is an enjoyable family-friendly alternative to Assassin’s Creed. The story is enjoyable and if you know a bit about Greek mythology it’s pleasant to see they took the flaws and cruel sides of the Gods rather than glorifying them. The narrative between Zeus and Prometheus is amusing and is a great accompaniment as you progress through the story. There are plenty of different puzzles outside of the main story to keep you busy and makes traversing the open land more enjoyable. The game could have done with more variety in enemies and puzzles to keep the feeling of monotony at bay though.
Immortals Fenyx Rising is an enjoyable and fun adventure, with a classic open-world gameplay structure in a fascinating and humourous setting. We would have liked more enemy variety, but even so, it's definitely a game to take in consideration.
Putting the obvious parallels to one side, Immortals Fenyx Rising is a thoroughly enjoyable game. The main character is very likeable, and the humour between the characters is great, while the Golden Isle looks fantastic and is filled with content without also feeling overwhelming. It takes a while for the combat to grow, and the end portion of the game drags on, but if you want a fun and compact open world game then Immortals Fenyx Rising is well worth playing.
Immortals Fenyx Rising is fresh and fun, offering up an exciting new IP I hope to see more of. That said, its endgame pacing issues certainly don’t do it any favours, nor does the timing of its release.
Gioco ben fatto e abbastanza ispirato. Ubisoft stavolta tira fuori un titolo meno noioso del solito, con un discreto combat system e puzzle carini. Gioco ben fatto, ma nonostante tutto, gli open world non incontrano i miei gusti personali, a parte eccezioni. Gioco non completato.
Even if the world is charming, the game gets very boring after a few hours. The story is dry and the puzzle are boring. I didnt enjoy the game. It felt very childish too. Some boring jokes here and there. Mehh. + The world had a good potential
- Boring Story
- Puzzles are almost the same
- Too long for what it is
