The work of Stormind and Saber Interactive proves to be worthy of the prestigious name it bears printed on the cover, successfully completing the difficult task of adapting this film franchise into video game form. If you are a fan of digital horror, you have loved the films of the saga or you are simply looking for a title to dedicate a few thrilling hours to in the scariest period of the year, we strongly recommend you give it a chance, especially in light of the highly competitive price at which it is proposed.

This is one of the best video game adaptations of a film franchise both in terms of themes and mechanics that differ significantly from other games in the genre. Stealth gameplay is strong and is very fun to play

A survival horror with a strong stealth component, which forces you to experience the protagonists' story in absolute silence. The gameplay mechanics are well-tested and work quite well, the tense atmosphere is felt, but some questionable design choices and situations that tend to be repetitive partially undermine the player's involvement.
Even though A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead struggles to build and maintain any momentum by design, it's the perfect Quiet Place game. Sound, and it's absence, are the core of this game, for better and for worse. While some may drown in the quiet from the tedious pace, others will adore the serenity of its methodical nature and immense respect for the source material. Personally, I've never felt more on edge opening a door like I have playing this, and that's my screaming whisper of a compliment for it.
While the story is forgettable and the gameplay can get repetitive, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a surprisingly nice treat for fans of the franchise. It doesn't reinvent the wheel for horror games when it comes to the hide-and-seek genre, but it does have some nice mechanics. Playing with your mic on has its merits and challenges, and the game does try to keep you interested as Alex faces new areas and challenges. Avoiding the full AAA price point was a smart move for the game - for the $30 price tag, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead has just enough to charm.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead takes an interesting concept and fails to reach the mark, fizzling out into mediocrity before even getting started. The goal of remaining quiet is portrayed well with several successful mechanics (opening doors slowly, watching where you step), but becomes boring as the game fails to create engaging challenges while plummeting in quality. Fans of the franchise will get a kick out of this adaptation for the first few hours, but it's hard to imagine many players sticking around until the ending.

This is just the worst horror game I've ever played my entire existence. And one of the worst games I've ever played in general.
This game so bad i felt that im getting scammed outta my time and energy.
Miserable writing, dumpster level gameplay, and one of the most unimaginably bad level designs ever.
Not mentioning the ps3 gen AI they got in this game.
The game is basically entering an area with this broken creature and solving puzzles to get out, zero dynamacy.
Plot is awfully awful, game is stalled to hell.
Gameplay is just rotating valves and placing planks and dismantling traps at my grandma's speed so you can cross without the thing hearing you. And that's all what the game got for you for like 10 hrs or so.
Luckily i didn't pay for this game. If u think this is a good horror game i honestly dk what to tell you.
Wouldn't recommend this game for my worst enemy. And if i can give it a negative score i would.
