Fans expecting crazy voices, mewling hooks, and a gazillion metaphors for sex, pills, and lean will find plenty to sift through in Eternal Atake 2. But they might question if the spark that animated past heights like Luv Is Rage 2 shines as brightly now.

While ‘Eternal Atake 2’ may be content to live in 2020, the rest of the rap world has moved on. Although far from terrible, ‘Eternal Atake 2’ seems to exhibit more signs of the Lil Uzi Vert tail-off – the quality control has dimmed, and the sense of direction exhibited on their early work has waned.

Eternal Atake 2 quickly spirals into a series of microwaved leftovers, each track blurring into the next. Attempts to jolt some energy into the album come off as odd and misguided.
